Tanning

How many of you visit the tanning bed before going? In have found it helpful so I don't get burnt while having fun, especially the parts that don't see sun often!

We start tanning a month before we go, twice a week and we have never had a problem with sunburns. Like you said, some parts don't get to see the sun very often so I think it is a good idea.

We always pre tan starting about 3 weeks before we leave (7 or 8 sessions building up). Definitely not foolproof but it's a good base. While we're there at least 30 sunscreen.The morning ritual of applying sunscreen can be fun!

We start about two months before. We like great tans before we go and it's very relaxing too. Ahhhhh

Same here, about a month before going. Wife gets a nice tan in no time, I burn in no time. Pre-tanning has helped. Not just the skin burn the problem, a bad burn can affect your entire metabolism, preventing you from partying even at night. Can't afford the risk, the week goes by to fast.

I almost always just about fall asleep then it turns off. I also tan 6-8 weeks before going.

I will have to start tanning again because the last two years my boobs got burned, even though you (the male half) were on boobie watch....shame on you. You have been fired from boobie watch.

(P.S. when nipples get sunburned they hurt REALLY BAD)

So I guess I should tan eh? I'm super pale normally, even through the summer. I don't recall getting that dark either when I went to Cuba. I don't wanna get burned though.

My right boob burnt on the side last year, even after tanning at home. It was not fun!

It really helps living within 10 miles of a c/o resort. We go 2-3 times a week and have a nice everything-is-tan tan.

Even though we pre tan we still use spf 15 in the morning before we head to the beach.

We actually did a little nude tanning on our boat last weekend.

I usually put sunscreen on....but after a few drinks I usually forget to reapply. That is why we had a boobie watch and the person on watch got fired last year when my boobs got burned...taking applications for February 15-22....LOL!

Steph,,,I can't imagine that you will have any problems finding people for boobie watch! lol
