Suggestions for a few extra days?

I guess because of Love Voodoo, we have to leave Hedo after only 6 days (and hopefully 6 glorious, magical nights) but don't want to return to the states right away...anybody have a suggestion or two for where we should spend a few more days before leaving Jamaica, keeping transport and a hopefully easy return trip to the airport in mind?

You could go down the beach at Negril to one of the places with nicer beaches than hedo, perhaps still getting day passes to come back to party.

We always spend a couple days out on the cliffs at Tensing Pen (Garden Cabin 120.00 night free breakfast) , market right across street along with AhhBees rest. - yummm! We take airport bus transport arrival/departure , take a cab out to cliffs and back to Hedo to leave.

We stayed at Half a Moon Beach (not to be confused with half Moon Bay). It is a very relaxed place. I don't think they were to particular about how you dressed at the beach. It was very private but there are some children around. When I say relaxed I mean in every way. Service is not fast.

I'm not aware of any nude friendly down the beach...Used to be Firefly, but it changed format and owners.
A good site to see most (not all) little places down the beach is
    http://www.negrilonestop.com/
They show where the places are, a decription of each/picture, video.
We've used them before to book after Hedo stays and always had good results.

Thanks for the link. Where is Hedo located in relation to the beach resorts they have listed on their site and map?

Hedo is on the point, just up from couples swept away on Negril one stop beach map. Only resorts that Negril one stop books are shown...so it is not all of them, but a pretty good list. Last year we stayed at Legends...this year Grand Pinapple. Biggest thing for us is air conditioning in the rooms...not all of them have it.

Coco LaPalm is real nice, kinda of a pay as you go mini sandals. Rondell's is also nice, less expensive with less amenities and a little closers quarters. Both of those resorts are on a really nice piece of beach.

Up on the cliff Samsara has a great reputation with some funky cabins on stilts. Coco LaPalm sells out early but is in the 150-200 a night per couple, Rondell is less and Samsara is around the same category. The fun part about these resorts is none are all-inclusive (they have restaurants and bars) and you'll want to go out to eat and drink off the property which is really fun.

    Cheers

Thank you all so very much....we booked a few extra "decompress days" at Catch a Falling Star. We are blown away by how helpful the people are here...if this is what we have to look forward to at Hedo, we may never go anywhere else!

You pretty much have a good idea of the Hedo ideology...once you go...you'll be hooked...we've met so many fantastic people over the years, and many, many we keep in contact with.

On your decrompress days...one place you really, really have to go is Bourbon Beach at night, They have a huge bonfire going, and a big stage with live reggae. It's a blast, and we plan on going again this year a couple of nights.

Could stay at Hedo couple extra days, and visit with those of us coming in on the 15th. Just a thought!
