So what's the special Canadian activities for the week eh? Making love in a canoe day? Poutine eating contest? Molson's at the bar and Timmies in the dining room? (Would be great to start the day with Double Double and a honey crueller eh?). Entertainment by Gordon Lightfoot and special appearance by Bob and Doug? (Justin Bieber can't make it). Going to be a great week to get out of the toques and parkas eh?

For the record I have never said "aboot" and have never heard any other Canadian say it either. I have been known to say eh a lot though.

How about RUSH and The Guess Who instead of Lightfoot, for comedy we will update to Jim Carey and at the end of it we can offer free medicare and a copy of Anne Of Green Gables.

Beaver Tail! Yea, that's it. I'm positive it is the same as what some people down here call an elephant ear. Pretty much just plain old fried dough.

kinda like a funnel cake but a big slab of fried dough instead of drizzled little pieces of fried dough in a heap....usually served with cinnamon, powered sugar or even sometimes fruit and whipped cream...LOL

We don't consider Beaver Tail to be the same....Beaver Tail means something COMPLETELY different here in the States

Naturally we Canadians like some nice beaver and a good piece of tail as much as the next guy but we're way to polite to say so.
