Get a carved brick in the new court yard

They will be all blank bricks initially in a curved pathway leading from the dining room to the piano bar. You choose the wording and style when purchasing the brick. The brick will be engraved in Jamaica to the your specifications and swapped out for one of the blank bricks. Go to the below link and click on "shop" at the top of the page.

I know it is a cool idea. I bit pricey though. I wonder if you can negotiate a price like everything else in Jamaica, lol (NOT)

cool idea...seems a little pricey, unless I misunderstood the price structure...but it appears about $1600 for a carved paver in the large size a bit larger than a square foot. for a business that might be attractive, but as a personal expense a bit hefty. Not all groups are run by a travel agent some, like ours, are run by private individuals who love Hedo. Are they removing rocks? and only allowing carved bricks? What about the totems that Christopher carves that are much cheaper? Like any new fee, to me there are aot of questions and not alot of answers. We'll wait and see how it plays out!

We just painted our rock so they better not take it away!!!!! It's next to our room so it should be safe.

This has nothing to do with the rocks people have painted or had painted nor the carvings that are placed all over the resort. These are the pavers that will on the ground in the new courtyard.

personally, and at risk of getting head blown off... I wish they would make 1 area, maybe near tennis courts for all the rocks as they are the 1 thing that really makes the grounds look tacky. Ok, its a tradition, but just make a field of rocks somewhere.. with walkways between so u can go see them.

If this idea were implemented I think it would look more like a cemetery than a fun-filled resort. We enjoy looking at the rocks in various meaningful places around the resort. Tacky at Hedo...unheard of! LOL
