WE agree with this....we have been into the lifestyle for over 20 years now and we Discuss everything and anything... it don't matter how big or small the issue is DISCUSS it.... as for a swingers week... we would say go on the 3rd week of Jan. the resort is always full and its a great group of ppl....

Thank you all so much for the advice. We talk about it regularly, all the excitement of talking about it has us wanting to do it. At the same time I (the male) am so nervous. Lol. Is that normal?

It's normal for both to be nervous. Talking about it is sexy for sure, and doing it is even sexier. However, for some, it's best left as fantasy, so the communication folks on here mention is important. That being said, if both of you agree you want to try it and you have a good relationship now, I suspect you'll enjoy the experience (even if it's something you choose to do only the one time, or only while on vacation).

We'd strongly suggest that you try it at home first. There are local swinger's clubs that you can go to to meet other couples or there are many adult websites where you can hook up with other couples. You'll even be able to sort through profiles to find someone in the the same situation as you so that you can experiment a bit.

By doing this experimenting at Hedo you really risk spoiling your vacation if something backfires a bit. If you figure it out at home you can go to Hedo and know your boundaries and totally enjoy the whole vacation. Hedo isn't cheap, and you don't need to waste any days there!

We would never try it at home, even after being in it for over 5 years now. Reasons, we are scared to find someone we know. It is another issue if we meet at Hedo and take it home. What we are more scared is someone gets crazy enough to stalk us, and they know where we live. There is a great pleasure in relative anonymity.

Mrs. HJ was always afraid of meeting someone we know if we did it at home. Then she realized that if we met someone we knew at a party, they were there for the same reason as us. She also realized that we wouldn't want them to say anything to others as much as they wouldn't want us to talk. To date, we have yet to meet anyone we know in our vanilla lives.

We thought the same....meeting people in the same town as us...funny thing is we did.. Years ago we lived on a horse shoe shaped crescent....come to find out that the one side of the crescent were all swingers....they didnt swing with each other or so they said....but it was way to close to home especially when you have small kids like we did at the time..

But one thing is for sure in the swinger lifestyle...no one is going to talk about you and where they saw you or what you were doing because it tells on them as well..

Starting to swing at Hedo sure will set the bar high. I was just thinking that if your first experience is in paradise, nothing else will measure up. I can tell you that our first experience was not at Hedo, but those mirrors sure do make an impression....

Been to HEDO a few times and are going the end of Jan beginning of Feb 2015
We are not swingers ,, but have talked about soft play if mutual and comfortable.
Have to communicate be open about limits and boundaries with each other and the other couple
