In our experience it takes about 3 hours after the plan lands. Give or take a half hour. Immigrations can be short or stupid long. Customs is quick and easy. Sometimes the bus leaves right away sometimes they wait a half hour or so till it fills up. Taxi probably saves about a half hour over the bus.

So i'm guessing its prolly better to be on the bus. Half an hour doesn't seem like much.

Our only other visit to Jamaica we took the bus to Ocho Rios and had a blast. Of course we picked up a few Red Stripe for the ride and a few more at the half way stop. It was also interesting to see the country side, and very exciting (or is that scary?) to be on the bus the way they drive over there. An adventure for sure.
