Honestly, this Deon "defect" never bothered me all that much. His show was so irritating, I felt that the less time he played, the better. Boy, I miss Kumar already.

There isn't much that would bother me, but the wife can be a little shy (until she gets enough booze in her!). I may go in and inform the bartender we're Newbies just to see what it's all about. I suspect we won't be the only first timers there.

Don't worry about the bartender. Go in enjoy and just don't admit to being new. Worst that will happen is that your wife will be urged to dance on the piano.

My wife is a great sport about alot of things but she would not get up on the piano at all... our first trip we stayed in the back of the bar so no one would ask her is she was new... after 4 trips she still haven't been on the piano... and she don't plan on it...lol... as for the piano bar in general we find it ok... yes just ok... its a place to cool down and get a drink.... we are not really into all the games that go on in there... there are some good singers that have heard but its not a place we can say we love it there... we love the resort as a whole... we might not spend much time there is it wasn't for Eldon.... hes the best....
