Has anyone booked for January 2015 yet?
Looking into flights - best direct flight I'd found was 521$ with WestJet - direct both ways.

Is 500-550$ a good range for direct flights into MBJ? I'm trying to set our expectations accurately, want to buy when it's in a good range, rather than waiting for some unicorn to come along at 450$ LOL

I would wait, we usually pay $400 - $450 out of YWG. Westjet often has seat sales that run for a few days with 10% - 20% off. Make sure you're on their email list so you're notified or keep checking their Facebook page.

Just checked our tentative dates with WestJet, January 18-25 (Sunday - Sunday). $1,170.70 for 2 people Toronto - Montego Bay return. That is with taking the 8:15 pm flight home from MoBay...if you want the 2:15 pm flight to Toronto it is $300 pp more (no econo seats listed ???).

Used to be a travel agent. If you are comfortable with the price you should book. Seat sales can be rare now days especially on WestJet. You could fly out of Buffalo, might be worth the inconvenience if the fare is less. Usually lowest prices are on Tuesdays. Could also look at packages like sunwing which services this property although it is usually less to book separately. We are flying AC from YXE for 1260.00 return 2 passengers in May. ( seat sale)

Direct flights out of Ottawa at that sort of money - we'd buy them. The direct flights fill up fast and you want to get to Hedo not spend time sitting in Toronto!

I would grab those tickets now! We usually book in June for a November trip and have not payed less than 600. Even last trip booked direct flight and was changed to the stop in Toronto

That,s a good deal , book now. We've already booked for Feb at 570$rtn. Direct out of YOW on westjet 6am flight will have nekkid on the beach by 12:30 , don't really care when the return gets us back...
