We just got our confirmation today! We will be there 11/7-11/14. This is a first trip for both of us and we can't wait for the fun and adventure. Everyone already seems so friendly and helpful...this is going to be a blast!

Is there a meet and greet at the resort for the new folks to the group? This will be our third time to Hedo, but our first with Love Voodoo, so we are looking to meet some friends before we arrive. try to make it a bit smoother once we get there.

We just got our confirmation. We'll be there the 7th-15th! This will be our first trip to Hedo, hope it's as much fun as it sounds.

Anticipation! Headed to H2 for first time during Love Voodoo Fest November. First time to a clothing optional locale. Seems there are some repeat offenders in this bunch. Would love to get to know you before we get there. Has anyone heard how full the place will be so far? Or, what is typical for a Love Voodoo Fest? Does it tend to be nudist or lifestyle? Subdued or "out there"? We are open minded so we will go with the flow.

Love Voodoo Fest is always sold out. So the place will be full but it never feels "packed" or crowded. There are definitely a lot of repeat offenders, we have a group of "hedo friends" that we meet up with every year down there.
Hedo is not technically a "Nudist" resort. "Nudist" are very serious about separating nudity and sex, hedo, on the other hand, is quite the opposite.
Hedo is also not technically a "lifestyle" resort but since this is a lifestyle group takeover it will be decidedly lifestyle. However, you will never be pressured to join in. Politely invited to join perhaps, but never pressured.
The party and the vibe will be out there and off the hook. You will see regular Public Displays of Affection, we will even provide some of our own. Especially in the nude hot tub and especially at night. The C/O side is more subdued and fewer PDA's if that is more your speed.

Thank you so much for your response. I feel better knowing what to expect. I intend on hanging out here until travel time to absorb as much as I can. Do you know of any place else to lurk and learn more, specifically about Love Voodoo Fest Nov 2014? Dear H is more hesitant than I am, but we are counting the days.

Does anyone have suggestions on how you would prefer to be approached by newbies? Just for conversation. Do we just approach a group and say "Hi"? Is everyone on here pretty open to newbies?

I find that being naked is a great equaliser, it brings down a lot of barriers. The people there are very friendly and very open. If you are approached to "play" and you're not interested a simple "no thank you" or "we don't play" will suffice and they wont be insulted.

We are booking right now loved meeting everyone from Love Voodoo last year so much, We are booking with them this year going from the 6th to the 13th

Those of you that have been there before, what is your favorite part of the week? What do you think this year's themes might be? I have read mostly negative thinks about the nightclub/disco. Do you spend any time there? What do you bring poolside? A beach bag? Sunscreen, money, ID, condoms?

The night club was too hot to go into last year, but they were working on it. Hopefully we can go dancing this year. As for poolside we always bring condoms were ever we go, although we have yet to play with others there. We use coconut oil for sunscreen and have not burned yet but you have to watch when you sit on someone, you will side right off. The people and staff make it fun and we hope to meet more this year

I so hope the nightclub is better. It sounds fun. If no one likes it, where does everyone go on theme night? Just generally on the property?

I can only imagine being all coconut oiled up and slipping and sliding on everyone. Kinda sounds fun!
