Swinger resort style trends: pubic hair is back, and so are the curves!

    Pubic hair is officially back
From what we are seeing lately at swinger resorts and swinger clubs, the ‘shaving down there’ thing seems to have reached its peak and is finally starting to go away. We see more trimmed pubic hair as opposed to fully shaved. Frankly, I have never been a big fan of shaved bits. It’s too much trouble to maintain, and frequent shaving may cause irritation. Trimming is easier and, in our view, more pleasing to the eye compared to the ‘full bush’ or completely shaved skin.

    Curves are back too!
We are also happy to see that women in swinger couples are no longer as obsessed with trying to be skinny as they were in the past years. Just look at the explosion of web sites showing how beautiful and confident ‘plus size’ women can be. As part of this backlash, some new fast-growing fashion trends glorify curvy and voluptuous bodies. More over, certain blogs even started a movement stating that cellulite can be sexually appealing.

Curiously, very few of the men we talked to lately, said they actually liked the skinny fashion… At the same time the tabloids still keep bashing the celebrities for an extra pound or a glimpse of cellulite. No wonder the celebrities are going out of their way to stay thin. It doesn’t necessarily make them look good but that’s their business.

Luckily, most women are not chased by paparazzi, so they can now afford to relax and enjoy their curves.

Although my husband tells me I am too skinny, I have always considered myself overweight. Don’t get me wrong, I do work out, swim and do yoga, but I have finally decided not to care about fitting the superficial tabloid standard any more.

It looks like both the shaving and skinny look obsessions are finally giving way to more natural behaviors, and hopefully more people may now feel better about themselves.

P.S. Just to make sure I am not making the pubic hair trend up, here are some links to mainstream press:

Started grooming well into the early 90s era while the landing strip was in. A step ahead of what trended. Perhaps being a step behind is only equal on this is in store. Like most trends...it will be back in style again then we will be step ahead again. ....Vitious Cycle

From what we've seen as far a pubic hair goes, you are so wrong. Not sure why you are trying to convey a mesage that is not accurate with the lifestyle or nudists in general. Sure not all shave totally but what is overwhelming is the fact that the majority of people shave and trim or have lazer done. Landing strips are common, always have been. Not sure what resort or events you are going to but obviously not to Hedo or North American clubs. There has always been curves, haven't seen any aneroxic women at any event or club we've been to ever. There has always been a varity of sizes. Again, not sure where you get your info from but it really is a stretch from reality. Next you'll be telling us North Americans women are now growing pit hair...

"Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and proudly proclaiming -- WOW! What a ride!"

    Next ride to Hedo: Jan 29th - Feb 16th 2016. :

Well, why would we write about something we are not seeing? I did not say full grown hair is back. I am saying that from fully shaved look - which is very hard to maintain and doesn't always actually look that good - the trend is now moving towards trimming. We feel like the full bush will probably not be back completely, but trimmed hair will be. Although some celebrities (as stated in the articles we linked to) are actively promoting growing back the hair down there. So, it's not just what we see, it's what many other people acknowledge too.

As for the curves - it's only recently that we've seen the explosion of plump fashion and appreciation of full-figured women, as is seen in this example: http://swingwife.tumblr.com/. Until just a couple of years ago the overwhelming pressure on women was to lose weight as much as possible and at any cost. That trend has been and is still supported by the tabloids and it has caused numerous tragedies, loss of health and in some cases - even loss of lives.

We actually agree that trimming is slowly becoming more prevalent than full shaving. As for me (wife), I recently started regretting all the hours I spent trying to make myself smooth in the delicate spaces. So much trouble, and the next day there is stubble! I think many women feel tired of it, as I do. Trimming is much more practical, and hubby likes it visually more than the 'bare pussy'.

Donna, at the end of a hot shower, lather it up, and then trim with a triple blade razer (I actually use my husband's from razor of the month clubs, these are AWESOME! You'll get a much smoother shave if i's at the end of a hot shower.

For us it's all about comfort and pleasing each other...we both shave completely and while it takes a bit of work...well, we're VERY happy with all that comes with the little extra effort...so when we change our minds regarding each other...that's when one or both of us will change...and not a moment sooner. It's all good!

Starting to see it in porn movies too (or so I've been told ), lots more pubic hair lately. Too bad, we both love it smooth. On a recent trip to Desire I would say very few out of a hundred or so women had any pubic hair so I don't think the trend has fully caught on yet. Here's hoping it doesn't.

While lady bits can be beautiful both with and without hair, we definatle agree. Bare down there is the way to be. Smooth skin slidding across smooth skin feels SOOO much better.

    Cheers,
