It sure depends on what day and time you arrive. We normally arrive at 11:40am so it's not an issue once we landed at 2:05pm and there's 6 plans that land at that time and ClubMoBay would help for sure. An alternative when arriving is taking TimAir from Montego Bay to Negril. It saves mega time and the view is amazing and with 4 people in the plane it's like $122ea.

Now on the way out we've done ClubMoBay once and it was well worth the money if you get to the airport at a busy time and way early for your flight that is. Last year we needed to do a little shopping, lines weren't long and we opted not to do it. We recommend on your way out wait until you get to the airport to purchase ClubMoBay.

We just got back from Jamaica about two weeks ago...arrived at 1:15PM on a Saturday afternoon...did not use Club Mobay and got through immigration in about 1/2 hour, probably as good as it gets for that time.

We used Club Mobay going home on a Saturday morning, the line for security was very long and we got expedited through it and spent two hours in the lounge rather than on line...highly recommended for departure - not necessarily sure it is worth it inbound.

I have used similar airport clubs on business travel for the convenience of getting a little work done between flights or even relaxing. I have never thought enough of these clubs for vacation travel, for me a airport restaurant for a coffee, drink or snack best meets my needs.

It all depends on what day you ar flying out. If you depart on the weekend I would take the Club MoBay route. It will save you time and stress.
    And why stop spoiling yourselves?

Though I have never used MoBay on the way in, it might be helpful in getting you to the resort faster if you are landing at peak times.

That's why I always arrive on Friday in the morning. Fifteen minutes off the plane and I'm outside looking for my cab.

On the way home on the other hand I leave Sat at peak and I'm thinking of doing the Club Mo Bay as I usually sit around for a couple of hours anyway and the beers are $6 at the gift shop in the main hall. Couple of beers and a burger cost 35. at JBS or Margaritaville. While they don't have burgs at the club I could probably survive on the apps.

    Cheers

While they may not have burgers, they do have beef, chicken and veggie patties. You can always order a burger from M'ville to be delivered and still drink for free.

Our flight leaves around 3pm on a Friday. We would mostly use it to save time in line honestly so would it be worth it? Is the line that long?

Actually Club Mobay serves burgers and some other things off a menu that has an additional charge.

I love the Club MoBay option.
Departure is an "always" for me: I arrive, relax, use the Wifi to catch up on what I missed, have a few more drinks... it's just worth it in my opinion.

Arrival is hit-or-miss on whether you skip the line. But it was very nice to have someone greet me as I got off the plane, rolled my bag for me (eh!?) and got me to the expedited immigration line. Then found my bag in baggage claim and escorted me to the expedited customs line. Then into their lounge where he called my taxi driver, got my bags to him, while I used a nice clean private bathroom and enjoyed a drink

Yes, it's an "extra." But I enjoyed it

They don't have a menu, per se. You can order from the menu of the places in the airport and they'll call in your order and have it delivered.

When I was there two weeks ago, the waiter that was serving our table at Club Mobay had a menu that people could order from. I looked at it briefly, from my quick look at the menu, it was not clear where the food was being prepared, certainly it is possible that they are getting the food from the various restaurants in the airport.

The thing I'd like to know is can you leave Hedo later for the airport? If we can get an extra hour or so at Hedo that may be worth it. I actually like airports lol I'm from a small town and love airplanes and airports so when I travel the airport is part of the fun for me. So if we still have to catch the ride to the airport at the same time even with Club MoBay for us it's not worth it.
