    Clothing Optional side of Hedo

OK so have question for those who have been to Hedo. Wife is bit apprehensive about going to Hedo as we have never been to a resort like this with the high sexual tones in the air and well everywhere else. I have read and seen that the old prude side is pretty mellow and not much goes on over there and is a good place to getaway if she wanted to relax. Any words of wisdom

    Cheers

We aren't party people and our first trip last year was our first public nude ever. We stayed on the nude side all day. The nude beach isn't crazy...that's the nude pool. Once she takes off her clothes in about 10 mins she won't want to put them on again. We loved it so much we are going back in April. Trust me if we loved it so will you.

Yes its usually quiet on the clothing optional side, but its best just to hit the nude side, get naked and see how you like it.
Then if you want a more relaxed time, move on over.

I would say the prude side evolved to a clothing optional side. Go to this side if you think it will make things easier, but you will need only an hour to get used to be naked in public. Enjoy and have fun !

How would you compare one of the Couples resorts in Jamaica to Hedo in terms of facility overall attitude of the people

needs a break, we have gone to hedo every year for the last 5 years or so. well, last year we could not work our schedule when we could go with friends, or even a group, so we decided to give Couples Swept away a try. so, here is how i would compare the both, and this is just my opinion, couples rooms and balconies were awesome. so pretty, and the beach on the property is the best beach we have ever been to. The food was great. now, that was it. the workers were nice enough, but we did not find them as personable as the ones at hedo. we also felt like the guest at couples all really wanted to keep to themselves, be romantic and all. we did the one love pub crawl off site, it was great, and we met one couple who we just clicked with and had a really good time with, well, guess where the van dropped them off at? yes, hedo. so, that being said, we are going back to hedo this year. the prices for the two are really about the same for us, and yes, hedo's rooms and food have never really impressed us, but we love the people we meet. we love the fun atmosphere. we love that we just feel at home at hedo. so it just goes to show, that nicer facilities and maybe better food and fancier amenities are not what makes a vacation in our opinion. also, the room upgrades were not done when we were at hedo in 2012, so this year rooms are at least nicer than the last time we stayed. have fun wherever you end up! Needsabreak, check out our trip report...for newbies/from newbies. Trust me, don't spend much time on the "prude" side. First timers and would have hated if we wasted time on the C/O side. We are not into the lifestyle but it is so liberating and the people are wonderful. No pressure...just nice people looking to have fun.

Yes, the old prude side (now clothing optional) is generally pretty quiet still (unless a big group is in the house). The beach and/or the pool(s) on the prude side can be really relaxing. Go and have fun!!! No pressure at all.

We enjoyed the quiet of the prude side when we wanted to be alone. We enjoyed the atmosphere of the nude side when we wanted to party. Generally, the later it got and drunker we became, we gravitated more to the nude side. But we really enjoyed the quiet times by ourselves too. Next trip we're going with a group, so we'll see what becomes of that.
