Yes, I want to do at least a couple dives too as well as the nude snorkeling catamaran trip !
also my gf is pondering whether to do a discovery course as well, so we'll definitely be hanging around the dive center!
btw, do you know if they do specific dives on specific days or is it just decided daily according to atmospheric or other factors?
And if scheduled which ones are the most interesting in your opinion?

If I remember right you don't get to pick which dive location you would like to go. They just pick it according to the conditions and also where the other dive boats are at. There is a shallow dive and a deep dive that you can pick. For the deep dive you have to be advanced open water certified. Shallow dive has more wildlife to see but smaller in size and the deep dive will have the larger sea life.

All of the dives we have done in the past have been ok to good. This isn't diving Cozumel or Turks but it is fun and it beats the hell out of diving in Minnesota.

I hope your gf does the course and joins us!

Deep dive is at 9AM. Usually 90 feet for 20 minutes. Shallow dive is at 11AM for about 35-40 minutes 30-60 feet.
The cessna at 90 feet is cool to see and swimming through it makes for a cool picture.
Watch for jellyfish, they were out in droves at New Year's... this made our extra nude dive a little stressful but it was still a blast!
Say hi to the sharks by the jetty wreck!

We are both divers as well and would love to join you for a dive. We didn't go on last years trip... couldn't get to be earlier enough to sleep a few winks and make it on time!

Just a reminder for those who dont know... You need an Advanced Open Water cert for the early deep dive.

That is where the 11am dive works for us best. Get to sleep in some!

I have yet to see any sharks, always seems to be the day I skip, lol.
And if you have the proper certification you can do both dives.
As I am only open water I do the shallow dive, plus it is later so I can still sleep in a little, grab a quick breakfast and still make the dive.
Unfortunately as a group leader there is always things to be done and I dont dive much in April.

We saw sharks almost daily on the shallow dive at Christmas, not so much on the deep dive. Maybe they move on come spring?

We did spot a nurse shark on Thursday the 13th on the 11:30 dive. Was a small one.
