Beer and wine

I have seen a lot of discussions about premium liquer, but is there wine and beer included as well?

red stripe flows freely. Not a wine drinker, but I assume there is wine available as well

There is red, white, rose, and sparkling available at all times. It isn't particularly good. They also have the option of purchasing higher end bottles in the main dining room at dinner time.

Pretty much, the only other beer I have seen there is Carib (cans) and that was only used in a chug contest.

At Christmas it was a Chilean red and white wine... Last year was Italian house wine and it was much better. This stuff was full of sulfites and it was instant headache for me :-(

If you have had Red Stripe here in the US, it is nothing like the Red Stripe on tap in Jamaica.

Let's be honest, if you're looking for the fine wining and dining you're probably heading for the wrong place.

If, however, you're prepared to accept lower standards in lieu of everything else Hedo has to offer, might I suggest the beery beer and the winey wine?

Lower standards? Freaking Red Stripe is an upgrade from the Bud I usually drink, LOL Honestly the Red Stripe taste pretty darn good in Jamaica, it's usually quite cold and the weather is usually quite hot

Red Strip is good. I liked the Red Stripe Light better. Do yourself a favour and take a taxi to the HiLow ( or on your way from the airport stop at a grocery) or another grocery and buy some wine and beer for your room. Actually we purchased 5 bottles of red wine and brought one up to the dinner table one evening. You can get some pretty good wines at the grocery. Hedo also sells wine but the mark up is pretty high. Having said that if you can afford $50.00 for a middle of the road bottle than you can buy from Hedo. Halfway through the week I ran out of Red Stripe Light and Ricky the bar tender offered to pick me up a 12 pack on his commute. I paid him and he dropped it at the front security gate when he showed up for work. They can't bring anyting into Hedo so he left it there, I picked it up and all was good. I tipped him and I was happy.

You can get Red Stripe or Red Stripe! Some of the taps say Red Stripe Lite...but it is Red Stripe. As Millions said...add some ice for Red Stripe Lite...and it keeps your beer cold and you get your H20 intake!
