Has anyone been bumped at Hedo recently?

Getting a little nervous.. We are heading there the same weekend of the Fluffs, (Feb 21st) but only staying two nights and moving on. We made the reservations months ago and called a few times to validate it with the resort. They haven't charged a deposit yet on our credit card, even though the reservations were back in the summer.

Has anyone experienced bumping? We will be so pissed if we are.

There are a number of Fluffs arriving on Sunday, so that should be good news for you.

We voluntarily took a bump on November trip 3 months ago. We were bumped to Grand Lido which is a short walk from Hedo's front lobby. The only hassle is the walk back and forth and checking in with the guards as you come and go. Of course, you can come and go as please between the resorts as often as you like. The rooms at Grand Lido are starting to show some age but they are still very nice. Our room was twice the size the rooms at Hedo. There was a fridge, jacuzzi tub and our room had a balcony that overlooked the nude pool and hot tub at Lido. Some of the restaurants at Lido require gentlemen to wear jackets while others sked that you dressed properly. The do have a main dining room like Hedo that is buffet style. Our compensation for getting bumped was a free night at Hedo for each night we were bumped. Not bad a deal in our eyes.

They were bumping folks at the end of January...and apparently Grand Lido was full, as they were getting bumped to another hotel....at least that is what we heard....but you know how that is at Hedo....take it with a grain of salt. As Lora said, if you get bumped to Grand Lido, be sure to get some vouchers for free nights in return.

I get in 2/22. Garunteed single. You can camp as long as you need, andy

We were there third week of Jan and we did hear a few complaints about being bumped as well. Thankfully we never had it happen to us on four trips.
