We are getting in a day early and thought we would stay at another hotel in negril. This will allow us to relax and get the jet lag out of our system. Any suggestions on clean and safe hotels in the negril area? Preferably on the beach. Thanks in advance.

Couples, the old Grand Lido, RIU. These are all close to Hedo.

We've used negrilonestop, great site with a good synopsis of local hotels, videos of the propeties too.

Coco LaPalm is nice, Rodell's in nice and a little bit cheaper, Firefly could warm you up (it's nude), there are lots of good ones in the pay as you go category, but I'd start checking now as many (coco lapalm) require a min. three nights.

Mid beach is way fun and way cool, you'll have a blast if you're not to exhausted to go out and about.
