Hi all,
Just registered but have been reading reviews on this site for a while. Lots of helpful info and advice. Thinking of a trip to Hedo in April.....if thinks work out. Planning on 7 nights. Any advice on the best day to arrive/leave with a one week trip. We are pretty flexible if it saves some money or will improve the trip by arriving a certain day (weekend vs. midweek or visa versa)

Hello and welcome! We just booked our first trip to Hedo for April. Our advice is to probably focus on what days/week works best for you, and then take a look at the group(s) there those days. For example, for us we needed to be home Easter weekend, and after we determined that the week leading up to that weekend worked best for us, we booked as part of Kitten and Angel's group. I guess if your schedule is completely open for the month, you can take a look at the various groups going that month, and decide if there's one in particular that you want to be there while they're there or to be part of that group.

I will say this, the people at the resort make the trip a win or lose. A low occupancy week with a dull crowd can make it tough to really get the most out of your vacation. With that being said, I wouldn't put too much pressure on yourselves to pick the perfect week or the perfect group trip. You're still going to have fun, it just depends on how much fun you'll have. Once you get that first trip under your belt, you'll quickly learn what aspects of the demographic mix you like and don't like. Then you can fine tune your choice next time to either accentuate or avoid the people you encountered on the first trip.

Yeah!!!!!!!!!! Passports have arrived......yes it has been a while....last time we traveled to the Caribbean we just needed our DL and birth certificates!

We just booked for the week of April 27th!

Will be our first hedo trip and we can't wait, there is a lot of info to help make your choice here

Hello from chilly brrr central Minnesota.
Our second trip runs from February 15 to 22 - Hedo II.

We've got a good group the third week of April, this is our 24th year. April is a good time after the 15th it is shoulder season and the rates drop. We get great rates through the group travel agent Tom's Trips.
