Just a quick follow-up: Mr. Easy was a great choice. He is friendly and easy to talk to. When I missed my flight (yup.... don't ask!) a quick call was all that was needed, and he was waiting for me with trunk popped when I walked out. He will make whatever stops you want, and even assisted me in some coffee negotiations

Also, if you need, he will even "rent" you a phone -- not a bad deal

We have always used him...great choice and can't go wrong with him....he will even be your body guard if you want to go into Negril to any of the discos...not that we have ever done that...there's to much fun at Hedo

Thanks for the info. I know you can get it for $70 but I hadn't heard $60 before. Do you tip?

Yes, we generally tip ~$10, but that's not required. Actually, some drivers (Biggs included) will do the trip for $50. We've used him for years and like to give him a little extra. We're delighted to recommend him... as well as Michael - who was one of the bellmen at Hedo for many years & now drives his own red-plate cab.

This is a great thread! I have always had included transportation & just realized I didn't this time (& I am traveling by myself for the 1st time too, so it was making me nervous) - thanks for everyone's input. I booked Rocky's Tours based on your suggestions - Will report back after my trip (Jan 17 - 26th).

Rockys is who we chose.
We only get to see you for one day as we don't get to the resort until the 25th.

I usually email Rocky's a few weeks in advance and let him know my flight info, then I email him to confirm 2 days before to let him that nothing has changed (or what has changed) and they will keep an eye on your flight and be waiting for you
