A sad day...we are home...

Very true. I adore and love my 3 young children, but when I am at Hedo I am a different person that I would never dream of being at home. When I am checking out this mixed emotion comes over me. I am excited to go home to see my kids, but my heart is breaking for the fun and friends I am leaving behind. It is such a mixed emotion it is so hard to explain unless experienced!

We can certainly relate to what you are saying, except our draw is grandchildren (we have 5 between the ages of 1.5 and 9...and another one "in the oven"). Part of our vacation fun is shopping for things for the kids that will piss their parents off...like noisy things! Grandparents are like parents, except there are no rules.

I agree with Cop that 10 days is just the right length of time for a Hedo vacation...but leaving Hedo to go home is still the worst experience. For me, DIF starts to set in on the ride to the MoBay Airport. Souvenir shopping (and rum, rum cream, and Blue Mountain coffee shopping) at the Airport only slows the DIF process down while you are still in Jamaica for that last hour or so.

What a sad day...we arrived home from our ten day vacation in paradise.....now...we have 6 and a half month to wait and a cold canadian winter until we are home once again...DIF has already set in...

Dave....sicker than a dog..but now that we are home got some cold and sinus meds that seem to be working like a charm...

My dental hygenist suggested I take garlic pills to help with my sinus infection.I did and it helps quite a bit.Also,have not noticed any vampires lately either and the bugs have quit biting too!

After several hundred offers, waiting for the very last night, late the very last night, just didn't work.
Sometimes, not every time, but that last night, very late, we have some private time together, to enjoy that last bit of Hedo.

It was great meeting you guys as well....getting forgotten about at the resort, and being picked up by a bus that had no idea what they were in for...anyone that was on that bus is scared for life.....cause we are "those people"
