Airport transfers

From reading different posts I am somewhat confused on the airport transfer to and from Hedo
Is there still a bus? What does it cost? Is a cab a good alternative? We want to stop at a liquor store on the way to Hedo so thought that would be good. What can we expect cab will charge w a stop?

If you want to stop at a liquor store then taking the bus is out. Cab is the way to go IMO...check out Rocky, he is awesome to deal with and has nice vehicles!! http://www.rockystaxiandtourservice....sportation.htm

Usually you can expect it to cost between 80 and 120 US. It depends on how good of a negotiator you are. Haha... Bet on 100.

I second Rocky - and his price is only $70 for between 1-4 people. And he will stop anywhere you want

The bus transfers can be purchased thru your TA ( approx. $ 36.00 pp round trip ) or you can just buy them when you get to MBJ at the airport. It is really a painless procedure. However if you want to get there quicker , I too suggest Rocky's.
Just negotiate with the driver before you get in the cab. Tell him you want to stop at a liquor store on the way. They should not cost anymore to do that. Buy the driver a wata or a fruit juice.

timair is our choice to get there, $110 per person one way if you have 4 passnegers and it's only a 15 min flight

Last 2 years I have brought apple pic moonshine and cups for everyone. Makes the bus ride go real fast along with making a few friends

Like this style and hospitality. We are bringing a quart of Georgia strawberry shine and a quart of regular shine.

hope peeps are wanting to try it out since we won't be able to bring it back with us.

Just put it in your checked bag ...The short busses usually carry 20 peeps so 10 couples. (cup count) also remember red stripes are not twist off. Might need a bottle opener.

I usually bring 26 to 30 dozen blinky gel rings to pass out for our glow night pool party. Before the pool parties, I would hand them out in the disco for PJ Party night. Everyone remembers me and some people bring back their rings from year to year, I also have makeing drunken gummy bears or worms to share in the pool in the afternoons.
