"Rooms Renovations - we will have 34 fully upgraded rooms completed by the end of the year with the other 246 receiving a facelift to include new drapes and bedspreads, painting, Flat Screen TV's and mini-fridges. The intent is to do 100 additional fully upgraded rooms starting in April 2014. We are moving full speed ahead to give you a bigger & better Hedonism II with the World Class Entertainment Standard that we are known for."

They may not have many rooms done by the end of the year, but they are working on it !!! They did say it would take several years to complete the project. It didn't go to crap overnight and it is not gonna be fixed overnight either, but it is happening!!!!

cool... we are looking forward to our trip in jan.... see what is done.... sounds like its going to get better..... we didn't mind it the way it was but upgrades are always great....

What! They have rooms at hedo?? Seriously speaking the rooms never really bothered us it was other minor stuff which all looks to be getting better. Could they use the update for sure but its all happening in due time.

Cant wait to return home!

You don't have to wait until all the rooms are completed. They will have different prices for different catagories of rooms. If you want a renovated room you can pay for it....first come first serve. Book in advance to reserve an upgraded room.

By "Caribbean Time" standards things are moving very quickly, really like the idea of having a mini fridge.

I too am excited to see mini fridges as an amenity. I'll be more likely to buy packaged beverages not available at the resort if I have a place to keep them chilled.

I'm a bit dissappointed at the total number of rooms getting the "complete" remodal. Those numbers add up to 134 planned room renovations, while the property has 280 rooms, so less than 50 percent being redone. I really thought 160-180 would be the number that would get the treatment, and never expected 100 percent since the budget just wasn't there to do all of them. I do wish they'd consider redoing the remaining room bathrooms to fix broken tiles, replace rotting wooden door frames, and get rid of any rusted metal.

Looking forward to seeing the changes and progress in November, as not much physical improvements had begun yet when last there in April.

I do believe they are planning on doing all 280 rooms over, but they can only work on them on the off season (May - Dec) as the resort often sells out between Dec to April. I think they plan on doing 100 next year (2014) and then will keep at it every year until they are all complete. But in the mean time they will be fixing the rooms that are not getting a complete remodel a little facelift. It is going to take time to fix the resort but I have faith it will get done. And I think they are moving VERY quickly for Jamaica!!!

They are closing blocks of rooms down as to not disturb any guests. I heard from a guest that was there last week and the whole block of rooms what ripped apart and he said it did not affect his stay at all.
