Beach Beds

It has been 3 or 4 years since we have been to Desire RM and back then we stayed in a Passion Suite. Being in a Passion Suite, we were automatically assigned a specific beach bed to use for the week. Is that still one of the perks of booking into a Passion Suite? Do any other the other categories such as the Jacuzzi Suites get a guaranteed beach bed or is everyone else relegated to greasing the palm of the chair and beach bed guy?

Yes, you still get the beach bed with the passion suite. Africa is still there doing an amazing job. For everyone else, it's $20 per day or whatever other palm (or anything else) you can grease.

Thanks. We are hoping to go back in October of 2014 and are just waiting to hear back from the group that we traveled with that goes then. I really don;t want to spend the big $$$ for the Passion Suite but an oceanview deluxe or Jacuzzi Suite might be in order. I was thinking if I had a Benjamin in my hand the first day, I might be able to get one assigned for the week.
