Booking Question

So we are thinking of going during Labor Day (US) weekend and by looking at various forums/boards, there does not seem to be a lot if hardly any people going. Now we have been before and know that someone will be there, but it is looking very light that week. So the question is, what is the probability that we could get a good deal on our stay if we just showed up and asked for a room VS. booking through an agent or such IF the resort is in fact slow during that time? Doing the research, with no groups there, everyone has damn near the same rates. Anyone ever booked right at the front desk? Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Cream (him)

Totally agreed! I would book Garden prude and then upon your arrival ask for an upgrade and see what the additional charges would be.

Be sure to try trivago for rates. I'm not sure about those otel and olotels sites, but Travelocity is showing much cheaper than most everyone else for that time period ($295 a night). Minimum suggestion: sign up for the Travelocity email. I've been getting 15% off coupon codes via email pretty regularly (including one today) and they do work for Hedo. I would consider just booking with Travelocity right now. You can cancel at any time. I booked Grand Lido for Aug with Travelocity using a 10% off coupon code. The next day they sent me a 15% code. I cancelled and rebooked with the new code. I've also gotten some pretty deep discounts on both Expedia and Travelocity when buying a package with airfare.

Hey Bill I actually looked at moving it a week, but the wife cannot get the days off of work. Thanks for the replies everyone, didn't know if I could work out a deal there or not.
