best spot to place a hedo rock?

We just got our first rock....very happy. Where is the best spot to put it where it wont get messed with or flodded out.

I paint mine with oil so no worries, no problem mon, no wash away my special painted rock.
This year I am bringing our rock with us and the fun part will be picking the place we place it. Ah this means get busy and get it painted so it will not be a wet rock in the suitcase? I love that saying. "I just LOVE my WET ROCK".....HE aka my HUBBY....lol....

We are trying to identify the ideal size so that we can paint a rock and bring it down with us in November. Anybody have problems transporting a rock in their carry-on luggage? I'm curious what the TSA would say about a rock in the overhead bin of he plane.

I really can't see that being allowed. You could put it in checked luggage, but not in carry on. It could be seen as a weapon. That is my gut instinct anyway

I went to TSA.GOV and did a search on their "Can I bring a..." tool. It said small rocks are allowed in checked bags or carry on bags. Unfortunately, it does not define what they consider to be "small". We were really trying to avoid checking a bag at all costs. Last trip we made to Hedo, our checked luggage was lost in both directions. It was a VERY disappointing situation to say the least.

Is there a rock shortage in Negril? umm why pack a 2-3 pound rock and pay for it? can someone inform me, I cant figure that one out.

I bring acrylic latex art paint. -- I pick a rock and spend an afternoon getting high and painting. Actually made some friends as they stop by and say hi

We have purchased paintings from the painter. -- He is awesome and we pay him well.
Last year he was intrigued on my rock painting and he came over to chat about it. He offered to clear coat for free. --no worries mon -just bring it over. Great way to spend the afternoon.

Don't know how some go to Hedo on carryon only. Millions and I had 3 very large suitcase --we did bring a keurig coffee pot though.

They will move your rock at some time,we had a large one down near the nude pool and it appeared one year up by the gym area,nice spot though!!
