Rumor's of my forum death have been greatly exagerated

I am back, lol.
Miss me?
We returned late last night from our groups 5th anniversary tour.
What an amazing trip.
Unfortunately while I did get the WiFi at the resort, these forums would not load, on my ipad or my netbook.
I was going thru major posting withdrawal, lol.
Trip report to come soon, along with some major info.
Just a few morsals, as we upgraded to fist class for our flight down, who was sitting right behind us, Jon the new owner.
Great guy, chatted for a while, great attitude. Everything we have heard about him, spot on.
Got some good info on upcoming changes as well as meeting with the General Manger Kevin.
For now I will just say these few things:
1. Everything was being painted, not just trim, entire buildings.
2. New plants and upkeep on the floral decorations.
3. Major upgrade to service, at ever meal and everywhere around the resort.
4. EC participation was over the top, every day, in every area.
5. Food steady increase in quality even while we were there and talking with the head chef, even more to come.
6. Late night pizza at the nude pool grill, OMG, amazing and just what was needed.
Other notes, we had one of the rooms with the new flat screen TV's, while we dont watch alot of TV, its on the wall not hanging in the middle for us tall people to hit our heads on. Energy level from the employee's to the managers, over the moon high.
And constant upkeep and improvements if you look, including dumping a major amount of new sand behind our room to level it out when you step off the back landing area near the rooms hot tub.
After talking with those two, and seeing things for myself, I have such high hopes and excitement for the upcoming changes.
Lets just say the first thing the new owner said to me on the flight was "We want to make improvements, make it better, but not change it. We never want to lose that "hedo" vibe".
Well fellow posters, that is exactly what us Hedo people wanted to hear, and needed.
We could not have asked for a better outcome for our second home.
And all these changes are within a short period of time since they took over.
We can't wait for the future, with many more trips home.

Oh and even more wifi boosters being installed yesterday including one in our room, even though it was a great connection all week.
So if you get room 2170 you should have the best connection in the resort, lol.

.. I, for one, am happy to be 'questionable'..

Hey Cop thanks for the great news. I didn't think we could get more excited but we are now! Leave this Sat 4/20 for 2 weeks!
We have a Question, we Heard there is now a wine bar with "better" wines available for sale. Is this in place now?
If so Dee will be a very happy girl.

Yes they do. It is located in the back of the dining room where the DJ Stand is at. Didn't look much at the selection but did see one bottle for $40 US. Kevin Levee's wife Cece is running that along with the gift shop.

There ya go, got answered before I got to it, but yes, its a very nice set up at the back of the dining room, next to the DJ station.
Must have been stocked by the time we got there because they had many racks full when we were there last week.

Glad to hear you guys had a great trip and I agree the " new " Hedo is getting better ! In March , I could not connect to this site either.... All my other wifi connections were OK . ( ? )
