Sitting Here in Saint Martin and its pouring rain

This year was her choice. Not at Club O but close, walked there twice. I would never even consider going to that beach, seems like groups of guys and a few older ladies. This is not my first time here as I was here 20 years ago. The Island has changed so much, it is nothing more than one beachfront store after another offering two chairs and an umbrella for $20.00. I just miss the party and atmosphere that Hedo offers. No other place in the world will ever be a substitute for Hedo and I miss it so much!! Just Sayin……

PS: Don’t let her see this she probably would not be happy….

Sorry to hear the rain and beach are not up to par. Perhaps a day visit to Club Fantastico on the hill for some variation?

Sorry to hear about the rain, from what I read on another board the island desperately needs it, however, it doesn't do a thing for your vacation. We have been going to St. Martin annually since 1991 and and have witnessed Orient Beach go from a naturist paradise (only 5 or 6 beach bars on the whole length) to triple rows of perfectly aligned loungers catering to the cruise ship day trippers. We have been there when it has down poured for 2 solid days and the roads were more like rivers.

We stayed at Club O many times and estimate the average age is about 10 years older than that of Hedo. Haven't really noticed groups of guys unless they are socializing while their wives read on the lounge chairs LOL . Many who stay at Club O are actually owners there. Club O shuts down at 10:30 where at Hedo the party is just getting started!
