Hello guys! ....thinking of going... anyone can tell if food there is improved, though we know it is not about food? how is the weather that time?

Improvement of the food seems to be a mixed bag, with some saying better, some saying worse, some saying no different.

Daytime temperatures in late June are in the high 80's (31C), with overnight lows in the high 70's (26C). On average, the chance of rain at that time of year is about 10%. Last year at that time, we saw one of the worst downpours I could imagine, flooding out walkways and other areas in a matter of minutes. This was short lived, and we were back on the beach not long after. Another year, it was a bit windy for a good part of our trip, due to some offshore weather pattern. Typical is a light breeze during the day and calm at night.

We've gone that time of year 8 times now, and we have no complaints. It is technically during the hurricane season, but hurricane season doesn't typically really pick up steam until late July/early August, so the risk of a storm impacting your vacation in late June is fairly small.

The food and drink has improved over the last few months , tastier and more variety. Hope to see you guys there !

The liquor is plentiful and they have a lot more selection. Also the food is better, but it is still not the States buffett

it is still Jamaican food.

Thanks for the update Angela , and I agree there is more variety and tastier , but many of the dish's are Jamaican style food.

I have been reading the blog and am excited to go to Jamaica. June 24th through July 3rd. I booked through my travel agent and am not a member of a "group". What things should I know about traveling to Hedo as a single? Are the groups open to singles? Just questions I am excited but a little nervous not knowing anyone.

The hedo naughty rockers are an awesome group to hang out with. Ann the travel slut is also a lot of fun. The sexgames, pole dancing group and the Raggae cowboy group will also be there.. you will definitely find people you'll enjoy hanging out with!

The naughty rockers is comprised of repeat guests, some have been for 15+ trips! Some are also 'hedo virgins'. We're an eclectic group of all ages, backgrounds and from all over the states and even a few Canadians. We first started hanging out with them our 1st trip in '05! They're so much fun and never a dull moment. We also have a tendency to look out for each other. Whether you've passed out on a lounge chair and frying in the sun or cornered by a few vinnies, we keep us all safe.
