compressing pics

o.k. need some help from the throbbing brain here. want to post a few "clean" photos, but they are too big. how can i make them fit into the guidelines? yours truely, a computer illiterate. thats why i let my wife do this.

Do you know what format they are in?

.bmp? .jpg? .gif?

The maximum file size is like 1 megabyte so they'd need to be pretty large to be too big.

they are jpeg. anywhere from 1.5 mb and up.

The problem then is that they are likely very high resolution -- you need to simply make them smaller.

Try resaving them as smaller images -- probably 800 pixels wide.

I bet the ones you have current are like 4000 pixels wide.

heck no! i will eventually though, when i get a little time. hey chris . how about a calendar for eveyones trip dates?
