Have you been to chichen itza and ek balem on your prior trips? Did you rent a car or took a tour???
We haven't been but have friends that have and they took tour. It's easier and prob safer to do the tour.
Any garden view room recommendations???? We just booked from June 27 to July 3. We will due a road trip to chichen itza, ek balam and tulum the 25 and 26 of June. Any suggestions for the road trip and what room are best at the resort???
We took the Chichen Itza tour last year. We left at 8 am and got back at 7 pm, it is a 2 hr ride from the resort and incredibly hot inland, be prepared! Were there last July, as for rooms, Garden view is fine, as Hedo expats we were very pleased with the accomodations. It really is a beautiful place.

We'll be there June 28- July 5. With regard to off site excursions, I wouldn't waste a minute of Desire time.

Looks like we're going to try Desire first week in Aug. Haven't booked anything yet. Just now in beginning stages of planning.
