seeking advice about hedo II

hey everyone,
my wife & i are thinking about doing an "adult-only" vacation next year for our 10 year anniversary. we're considering hedonism II for this & want to get an "inside scoop" on the place. basically, we want to hear what it's like from people that have been there…*preferably more than once. you know how it is, you can read reviews all day long & still never really know exactly what goes on at the place.

i've also read — in numerous places online — that hedo tends to be filled with people in their late 40s & up & am wondering if there's any truth to this. we're both in our early 30s & want to (hopefully) have people closer to our age there. don't get me wrong, i'm not discrimahating on anyone in that age range, just wanting to know if there's a chance for us to be around people a little closer to our age, is all.

any & all advice on your experience at hedo II will be greatly appreciated. thanks!!

the reviews on this site are people that attend Hedo often and regularly. As far as the crowd it ranges from 20's to 80's. Goto your local Walmart and imagine the crowd naked and partying, all having a good time together. Naked levels the playing field, you will meet from blue collar to Phd's at Hedo.

Don't go to our local Walmart. The people at Hedo look much better than the ones here.

I think the best "inside scoop" you can get is by reading the trip reports and forums here. These are written by people that have actually been (many times in a lot of cases) and are sharing their experiences. If you still have questions after that, ask away!

Ok as per age 20s to 80s Hot to not Ps some very HOT you will find your best friend and the peoply that just are not but its all good if your in the life style and not its all good people will not judge you and ask not to be judged you have to take the chance and make your owen mind up

You will find people your age there, but depending on when you go the #,s of people your age will vary. You will also find age isn't as big a factor at Hedo than it is elsewhere.

I would say go to your local Target possibly rather than your local Wal-Mart. I think that might be a better reflection of the type of crowd your apt to be there with. Also consider whether or not any groups will be visiting when you are there. They can also have an affect on the type of mood if there is a Take-Over occurring usch as during a 'Lifestyle Week'. We've only been twice and on both occasions we met some great people, particularly during our 2nd trip and had lost some of our newbie preconceptions. There will be all body types, backgrounds, and socio-economic types. However, nearly all have one thing in common, and that's to make friends and have an amazing time. It's a great place and I cannot wait until we can make it back.

If age is an issue then check out the various groups and read about their activities and trip reports. But in all honesty, as has been stated already, age really is not a issue here.
April 2012 (last week of the month) had some very young people in attendance, and for the most part all was good, although they stayed mostly to themself. But the week before, the crowd was older, and much friendlier. All groups cater to all ages, and everybody (well for the most part) is easy going. What we have found is that different groups offer different vibes, if that makes sense. Some groups visit more than once a year, and some groups meet outside Hedo, back home, or at different resorts.
You really can have a vacation your way here, and still party like a collage kid.

The best thing you can do is PICK THE DATES AND AN ALTERNATE DATES FOR TRAVEL. THEN RESEARCH WHAT GROUPS WILL BE THERE TO PIN DOWN YOUR TRIP. THIS WILL HELP FOR PARTICAPATION WHILE ON THE ISLAND. YOU WILL HAVE A BLAST. NO WORRY.....NO PROBLEM.

For what it's worth,keep in mind that most "old people" are really young people who,thru no fault of their own,have been trapped in an older body.It happened to me and it's going to happen to other people too.

Great comment NN! I'd rather party anytime with older people that have found their vibe and are comfortable in it than younger people that still haven't found theirs.

Best thing to do is judge people by their personality and self respect and not what they look like. Seems to work for me. IMO.

This is a common question and we should not assume people are asking because they are concerned about looks it might be because they just would like to meet people they have more in common with. There is all ages so you probaly will meet some in your own age group. However you will have a blast with us forty and fifty sometings as well.
