    Fantasy Fest in Key West?

I hope I put this in the right forum.
We have a friend attending Fantasy Fest this week.
Anyone know if it is being affected by Hurricane Sandy?
The website shows most stuff to be in streets, parades and such.
Looks like a fun event, but not so much if it is rainy and cold.

I have numerous friends and member of our Krewe there since last week and there has been little/no impact on Key West or even the events. Temperatures have "cooled" into the low 80's and high 70's and no one has been complaining.

We were there Sunday to Sunday this year. Thursday was a washout so we stayed at the house around the pool. Friday was overcast and breezy but dry and overall awesome due to lower temps. By Saturday, it was back to Key West normal.

    Great time this year!

Where did you stay in Key West, Old town area or away from the action? We would love to get down to FF next year.

We booked the Eden house for FF 2013. It is off of Fleming Street. Everything is within walking distance.
Been going to the Eden house for a long time... can only STRONGLY recommend it.
    Cheers !!!

Wish we could find place for 3-4 nights near the Garden of Eden .
We were in Key West last year and went to many places looking for room availabilty during FF 2013 and had no luck

There are several good local sources online for hotels, B&B's, guesthouses, etc for FF 2013 but expect a sellout of the island for FF and at least 4-5 night minimums.
