    Newbie questions

Hopefully my newbie questions don't offend anyone to much.

My wife and I are thinking of planning a trip to Hedo II next year. We have never went on a trip like this, but are tired of the boring, so called "normal" trips. Hedo seems like a place we can have fun and relax. We would go to the nude side, but are not interested in the sexual adventures some describe. It doesn't seem like there is much pressure to join in except on a few reports which seem like it was a particular group there which caused the problems. Is this a good interpretion?

Also, a lot of less than positive on the accommodations, food and such. Is this really the case or some prudes trying to give Hedo a bad name?

There is no pressure: do as you please. But expect to see others indulging.

the reports on food/accommodations vary with peoples experience, standards, trips to other places, etc.
hedo is what it is: old, in disrepair, and a lot of fun! It is clean! Food ranges from very good to not so great.

You can find lots of information on almost everything to do with Hedo in Chris Santilli's Book, "The Naked Truth About Hedonism II". You can find her book at: http://www.wordcrafting.com/

You can find lots of ideas, tips and suggestions on making your trip a favorable experience by reviewing the info you'll find at www.jwst.com. You'll also find pictures of the resort and some key staff people as well as lots of travel information.

    Good luck.

There is never any pressure, you may be asked but a simple "no we are not in the lifestyle" gets the point across. When were you thinking of going? We have a fun group that goes the end of April, check out our website. It caters to sexually positive couples and singel gals.

I concur with everyone else above...there is no pressure to participate in sexual adventures, but you might be asked. So just politely decline if you are not interested, just saying "we are not in the lifestyle" works well.

The food at Hedo is fine, but some days are better than others. People don't go to Hedo for the food or room amenities though...

Not everyone that goes to Hedo is into the lifestyle...we've been going for years (trip #29 coming right up), we got engaged there and got married there (family in attendance) ... we are not in the lifestyle per se. There is zero pressure to 'do anything'...what you do is up to you. Some of us just like hanging out naked in the sunshine with 100 of our best friends every year and making new friends....among other things. Plus, Jamaica offers lots of fun!

Accommodations are not fabulous (think Motel 6), food is hit or miss....but, it IS Negril, Jamaica and the weather is often fabulous, especially for us Northerners. We've met some incredibly wonderful, fascinating, interesting, wild, mind expanding folks at Hedo and we've also met some of our very best friends there. We keep in touch with about 100 or so people we've met over the years....see them Stateside when we can, chat often, etc.

Hedo can be a life changing experience if you're open to it. Or it can just be another fun vacation. Why not give it a try and see? If you like it, you can go again, if not, you don't have to. I do suggest watching out for takeover groups on your first trip....that might be a bit intimidating.

Hedo is NOT for everyone...but if it IS for you....hang on and enjoy the ride!
