    Airline route

Can anyone advise us on the best route to take flying to montego bay from tenerife in the canary islands. We have just returned and flew first to the uk then onto jamaica, but this seems an awful long way when looking at a map,,, however, we cant find a better route (there must be one) maybe a travel agent can help? Which airlines fly into montego bay from europe or africa??

Don't know if this helps, but Delta flies out of Liberia. You could catch that flight to the US or Central/South America then Montego Bay.

Go to www.expedia.com and put in the appropriate information. They will give you lots of options as well as a wide choice of airlines. Best I saw was 18 hours and 3 flights.

Funny, I actually wanted to go TO the Canary Islands. ;-)

I found TFN-MAD-MIA-MBJ. (Tenerife, Madrid-Miama-Montego Bay) with Iberia and American Airlines.

Another option that looks reasonable is Tenerife -> Dusseldorf -> Montego Bay on Condor. (condor.com) - they often don't show up on travel sites like orbitz/expedia/etc.

Tenerife to Madrid on Iberia. Madrid to Miami and Miami to Montego Bay on American.

American Airlines has the only nonstop from Miami to MoBay. You can take connecting flights on USAirways or Delta.

Talk to Thompson Tours. You might get an interesting deal via Toronto using an all inclusive package (even transportation MoBay to Negril included). You can fly almost everywhere in the world out of Toronto. Toronto Madrid is easy. I'd avoid Miami like the plague (unless you love hours in security!)

Also London to MoBay is an easy flight. (misses North American security totally).

Another option would be Madrid to Orlando and then JetBlue non stop from Orlando into MoBay.
