Hedo it was the worst ever!

It was the worst ever! I met people who had been there 30 times an even they could not belive it of course the staff is okay some are great some not so. Our entire week the prude side was taken over by fetish freaks who would whip and burn themselves an show off the scar at breakfast! serious men dressed like dogs freaks who beat themselves on a leather cross have no place on the prude side this was not kiddie stuff one girls complete shoulders were black and blue! They were awful and after the boring contest all they did was bitch very loud all around the resort this group was a major bummer, I had freinds fly in from England and this is what they got! We had to leave often I'm not a prude trust me but this was way out. Nothing works at the hotel phones, tv's from the stone age etc.. food was okay but compared to most AIs this is a snack line the prude snack bar never open an only the prude bar after complaints A main diet of burgers an fries in Jamaica? The entertainment was worse than the worst amature night you could imagine you walked into the piano bar he could not play or sing an people tried but it was sooo bad you had to leave he was begging anyone to sing or play an when he tried rocky top you could die and ran for the bar for watered down red strip anyway I could go on but its to depressing go waste your own money !!

OMG!!! Yes, we too were at Hedo 2 with our group 9/7-15. There has been alot of changes since last year. We MISS Deon . Tommy the new piano bar EC is NOT a good selection. He has NO talent to be in the Piano Bar. Nice kid but BAD choice. We had all we could do but stay and keep him company. YIKES.. The food was better last year but Joseph to also left Hedo. Not sure why there has been alot of changes in staff. Shakee ( how ever its spelt) also left. Scumba not even at the nude pool all that much this year but he was stuck at the bar near the disco. We are VERY disapointed this time in our stay..

Sounds like the new owners haven't taken over yet, and the old owners just don't care anymore. So, any news on who the new Hedo 2 owners are? When do they take over? And will Hedo 2 still be a fun clothing-optional resort once they do?

we were also there when this group of freaks were there. the evening "entertainment" that they made us endure if we wanted to eat in the main restaurant was beyond laughable.... it was a very bad joke. the only possitive from our point of view regarding these he/she/its/things was that during the day we never saw them as they were asked to leave the nude side several times as they refused to strip off...
we will post our own report shortly when we recover from the jet lag.

We were there Sept 13 to 20 and had a great time in fact we are back October 15 to 21 can't wait

Deon has been gone since March going to school in China. Scumba has not worked much at the nude beach bar since before that.

yep have to agree, this was our 2nd visit to Hedo II, we loved it when we were there last year, but sssOOOOOo many changes and not for the best either. The "Freaky Deakys" as we ended up calling them were a real pain, they took over the prude pool with their impromptu stage show, dancing on the pool table when we were trying to play pool, being as loud and obnoxious as they possibly could and generally pissing everyone else off!! The entertatinment crew have changed a bit and whilst the "freaky deakys" were there, they hardly paid any attention to the rest of the guests. In fact when the "freaks" left after breakfast on the saturday, you could hear the whole resort "sigh with relief" it was only then that the crew started really interacting with the rest of the guests and we all started to have fun!! Those freaks were real "mood hoovers", a few staff were complaining to us about them but their hands were tied as they obviously had a job to do. Food was ok but no Charlie at the Egg stand for breakfat!!! Loved the Piano bar last year, but OMG this year, it was all you could do to last 10 mins before your ears started bleeding!!! We don't go for the decor or quality food, but for the freedom of the resort allowing you to be and do as much or as little as you want and then to have a funtime in the evening, but we along with others felt quite uncomfortable with the am dram going on the main stage and left as soon as we finished eating!! Bring back the Toga party!!
Shakee is now at swept away apparantly. Charlie has his own foodie/restaurant place up the road too. Not sure about any of the others.
We will go back, but don't know when, maybe when the new owners take over not sure.

I am so glad and do hope that this upcoming trip during the lovevoodoo takover will be the most awesome ever for us. In light of these not so great reports it seems that we may need to really do a research on these type of groups that are there when you are trying to make your travel plans. Forwarned is forearmed.
