Not trying to come off like Polly Anna with the rose colored glasses on BUT,my gutt would tell me that with more modern resorts in competition with HEDO and yet HEDO having the "market share" that it does,any new owner would be a fool not to turn it into the envy of the Adult resort industry.In other words,make it more modern and upscale to blow the competition away.Just my 2 cents.

Making it more modern and upscale may blow the competition away, but it'll also increase the prices which will blow a lot of the return guests away.

The atractive pricing at hedo is what makes it possible for us to go more than once a year. If the price goes up, we'll still go, but it would have to be anually.

Wow... Those are two very good arguments. I'd imagine it's a gold-mine just as it is. There can't be many other resorts with the kind of return guest percentage that Hedo has. Either way... I really hope we can still do what we do, without an exorbitant increase in cost, and without being limited to a postage-stamp sized corner of a beach.

I find it kinda funny that lots complain about the condition of Hedo and say they want it upgraded, but then people also want it to stay at the same price. Can't have both!

I think they are doing upgrades gradually without putting prices up. New fans, rooms painted, updating TV's as they break and so on. They can only do what they can do.

My point is this,if the owner no longer has to pay the overhead at Breezes out of HEDO revenues then there should be more capital availale to upgrade HEDO without having to raise prices;thereby securing repeat business as it comes in line to the level of other resorts.Maybe wishful thinking,maybe not.

I think you're right on the money, pardon the pun ... I personally have no complaints, I love it the way it is, which is why we keep going back. I guess what I meant earlier, is that if there is a new owner down the road, I hope they don't heavily raise prices to get a faster return on their investment. That'll be hard on a lot of regular visitors. Anyway... Nothing's happened yet, and there's no point speculating on what may never happen.

PS... Hope it's not sold to Royal Decameron. RD is the company that kicked us out of Hedo III.

We were told that when we were @ Hedo the week of 9/7-9/15 , that it WAS aleady sold but they were in the process of waiting for it to be SIGNED on the dotted lines.
