    Comments on Tim Air?

The van transport to Hedo II is my least favorite part of the journey. Anyone have any good or bad comments on the Tim Air experience? Thanks.

We've always cab'd it in the past and enjoyed seeing the countryside. This year we're on the bus Tim air could be fun but I would hate to wait around for another flight

We flew Timair one round trip and it was a very good experience (2004). We did not have the delays that other posters have mentioned, it sounds like their security process has gotten stricter-there was none on the flight back from Negril. We considered it for our trip in 2009, but the cost was prohibitive. West NY, are you on SLS?

We have used Tim air many times and used international air link the last 3 times. Getting there in 15 min is nice not to mention the view.

Its a little like hedo, older, out of date, but still alot of fun.
    Great view of the island.
But one little point to remember that when you take it your checked luggage becomes somewhat carry on luggage because there is no bottom of the plane.
Now the liquids, etc were ok (shampoo, etc) in the big bags but they all get xrayed.
Do Not Take Toy Guns On Tim Air for a costume.
Lesson learned the hard way after major delay, confiscated items including my police handcuffs and being told that I was lucky I was not going to jail.

Cop ..besides the handcuffs/toy guns I can just imagine the look on your face as they pulled out all your fun stuff.

"Mr Cop"...."Please explain this item" ...Kittens butt plug sir,

And why do you need 100 condoms for a 7 day trip...
And the gal of Anal Ease -- please explain ..

Glad it's over but Millions would of had me locked up just for embarrassing her.

It is illegal to bring in toy guys, checked or carry on, period.
You got CAUGHT because of the screening because you technically "leave" the airport before getting on to the Tim Air plane.

At any rate, if you are two people and have a reservation, there should be little delay.
If you have the $$, go for it

Thanks, guys. Would at least like to take it upon arrival. And Mr. Cop, I shall leave the Glock, baton and taser in YOUR bag, OK? ;-)

They have pictures of cop by the tim air counter with a sign saying no toy guns allowed. I was shocked when I saw it.
