    Nov trip first advice please

My wife and I (34 @ 37) have been looking at booking either desire or hedonism. We would like to meet people and have a laugh, but would only be intimate with eath other, but are keen to soak up the atmosphere. We have no issues with the nudity. Any thoughts on the best resort for first timers like us?

You say you want to meet people and laugh. Personally, we prefer Hedo because of that. When we have been at Desire, the only time people talked to others was when everyone was crowded in at the rooftop hot tub. Now, the rooms at Desire may be a little nicer albeit smaller. The food is similar but Desire does seem to offer more of a variety from day to day. No one at either place will insist you abandon your monogamous lifestyle. Remember though, that Desire advertises itself as a Lifestyle Friendly Resort.

I agree- if you want to "meet people and laugh", Hedo is the place.

Desire is slightly nicer so far as rooms and food.

My husband and I are not swingers but do enjoy a sexually charged party atmosphere, and so greatly prefer Hedo.

We've been to Hedo many times over the years and always meet people and especially have lots of laughs. We are also monogamous ... there is zero pressure (unless it is your own pressure) to step outside of your relationship boundaries. November, while still officially hurricane season, is a great time to go...we have enjoyed the first week of November at Hedo for 13 years! Good luck with your decision.
