Spice Lanzarote compared to Hedo

Hello all,

After several trips to Hedo we are now going for the first time to Spice Lanzarote in October.
We enjoy Hedo so much but, as being from Europe we love the idea to go to a nekkid erotic resort in the same timezone !

Anybody any experiences on: Theme night participation? PDA policies/experiences?
Or anything else relevant for our preparation.

Your input will be highly appreciated!

Hi,

I have been to Hedo 2, 3 and Spice Resort.

I have to say it's different at Spice, very different! Like comparing apples and oranges in my opinion.

Spice is smaller and more intimate, not so much of the noisy party atmosphere but more upmarket and refined. Don't get me wrong I loved partying at hedo as much as anyone else on here. It's just a different type of party at Spice.

Theme nights are well attended, even if everyone doesn't dress up - they do join in. James does a fab job of playing to his audience, whether they are newbies or outrageous!

PDAs are pretty much the same as I have experienced at Hedo - as long as you are not making others feel uncomfortable then it's okay.

We're also Hedo veterans who have visited Spice - we went last June and are going back on 31st October for the Halloween party. We absolutely love Hedo but found Spice awesome as well. It is a little more "refined" but as Uniflip says, it's still a blast. The place itself is much smaller and more intimate, but the pluses for us are the mix of nationalities/languages and the food - the reaturant is excellent, and a big step up from Hedo. The other advantage of course is the proximity and therefore cost - we intend to go several times a year for 4 or 5 days a pop, and we're not sure we'll ever make the long haul to Jamaica again, although we'll miss it terribly! I'd recommend Spice to anyone!

Trip report of our visit to Spice Lanzarote in October 2012

We just returned from Spice Lanzarote and are still excited, it was an awesome stay in a nice place with awesome people.

The hotel itself is very well maintained with a nice pool area and a separate hot tub-area with pool bar. Almost everybody was completely naked.

The atmosphere was during the day relaxed-holiday-like with a sexy twist and changed at the end of the afternoon slowly into an all out swingfest which had its peak around midnight in the hot tub. It was great to see how everybody could indulge in their kind of fun and enjoy in to the max.

The food was ok but the restaurant was too warm and too loud, this was the only downside of the resort.

We met a lot of nice people from different nationalities, english, american, canadian, dutch, belgian, finnish, latvian, etc.... this is where Spice is different from Hedonism it is a much more multinational community and with an European flavor.

The staff are the best, all of them are very service oriented helpful, amicable and going the extra mile to make your stay memorable. James the entertainer is one of a kind and is loved by all the ladies.

PDA is allowed and shown almost everywhere in the resort.

How does Spice compare to Hedo?
Spice is much smaller and therewith more intimate, the food is better but could be improved as well. The rooms are much better, especially the beds which are awesome. But no mirror ceiling.
But the most important one is the atmosphere and the crowd, that is great like in Hedo with a bit more European touch.
Given that Spice is much more close than Hedo, and is on all fronts as good or better than Hedo we will probably call Spice our home for the years to come.

Going to Spice next July with my wife Val for a week, so any info on the resort will be helpfull, have been to Hedo 2 and loved it back in June dressed for all the theme nights Val loves wearing her sexiest outfits all very short and seethrough she was naked on Hedo's p.j. fetish, and masquerade nights hope she can do the same at Spice, any tips welcome

Putting a deposit on it for March and the price for the room was less then Hedo.
With the airfare being more then going to Jamaica the total cost works out to be about the same as going to Hedo.
I'm sure its worth it.
