Your suggestions for a small group dinner for 6 or so?
Somewhere that does seafood and has good non seafood options as well would be appreciated. Thinking about dragging a few AWOL peeps off campus for a dinner one night before the group really arrives and don't want to make a bad choice.

I personally like Push Cart and a place called something like Xoiba. There is also Cosomos which is a little more relaxed environment and less expensive.
We took a group of about 14 or so to "3 Dives Jerk" last year. It is a shack, literally a "Dive", and the seating is around picnic tables outside, but the food was AMAZING and cheap!!

We have been to Kyuba, Rock House for very nice dinner However the best meal we have had outside of the resort was last xmas at Catcha Fallin Star.
We also like Best in the West for Jerk chicken it is across the street from coca La Plam and is perfect for lunch. We walk there from Hedo and take a cab back.

Rockhouse. Food and view are awesome
Last trip we visited Ivan's, really awesome food, reasonable prices, and incredible views. It is right beside Rick's but not touristy like Rick's...Part of our future trips for sure
Been to them all. Hands down ROCK HOUSE.

The guests, the atmosphere and the freedom really can't be beat
We have been to Xtabi and 3 Dives - both are good choices. We haven't tried Rockhouse - it is on our bucket list for next trip.
Thanks for the answers friends. We are going to do Rockhouse for dinner. I looked at the site and the only reservations I saw were for the hotel. I guess I need to send an email- wonder does it book up?

I suggest calling the day of maybe around 3:00pm tell them it's a special occasion and see if you can get hooked up with a really nice table....there's some beauties there.

Three dives, hands down, their lobster and shrimp is the best we have EVER had, the sunset is breathtaking! They also serve chicken options. Cant wait to go back, a must do while in Negril. Hope this helps!
All the enthusiasm makes me want to go more than once now... not sure the sand gravity will allow it!
