We leave for phili on friday to catch our early morning flight on Sunday

So I guess I should start packing. Anyone else a late packer, or are you a 3 months in advanced packer?

What trivial item(s) do you pack in excess? I usually bring 3-5 pairs of flip-flops because I tend to lose them!!

I usually pack the day before, two days at most. I may start gathering some items together in the guest room just to make sure I don't forget anything, but I'll be up almost the whole night before we leave getting everything packed and ready to go.

My wife hates me packing, i always take to many clothes, so she packs, (every thing but the kitchen sink) incuding every insect reppelent known to man, she thinks if you don't pack something you will always (what ever it may be say a pair of scissors) kneed it, (I bet none of this is any help at all,) so over the years of travel we tend the make a list then keep it for the next time, but having said that she still unpacks just before we go no matter how early she packs, i can almost guarantee you will forget something we always do. Good luck on the packing have a safe trip.

Many people say you don't need that many clothes. I tend to disagree. Once I had a bad sunburn and didn't want to wear any tight clothes, thankfully I had several loose articles that looked nice.

    See you soon, Glenn!

I bought 1 pair and lost them in the dining hall. One Jamaican was all happy with a new pair of American Eagle flip flops.
Not to worry they sell them in the gift shop!

Have a great trip -- enjoy Phila -besides Negril it is the best city in the world. (that should stir up chatter)

I'll bite. I must be fair and say that I really only go to Philly for the airport when there's no other solid options, as it's definitely not on my top 10 list of airports I'd prefer to fly out of.

Oh Milo, if it was only that easy. I am extremely picky when it comes to flip flops! I cried when they changed the design at khols. Thankfully I found some at kmart.

Phili is an ok city, haven't spent enough time there to really form an opinion, I'm from cali, so. if it gets snow, I'm not thrilled

I usually get everything ready at least a month in advance , but travel a lot so I always have the main things ready to go.And as Maggie says you do need more clothes than you might think.

I hear the cheesesteak doesn't suck in Philly. Then again, they put onions on it, so they may be insane.
