How exactly does that "hospitality room" on-board work?

Question goes out to organizers or veteran's from past Couples cruises. Wife and I are curious about it but haven't had any experience with that kind of set up and don't want to look stupid. I understand it's one of the big rooms on board with a bunch of mattresses, it's real dark and you have to wear a robe (or less) other than that, what are the rule's of engagement?
    - Is it just a big orgy and you're supposed to jump right in?
    - Mostly couples that want to show off?
    - if you go in there are you expected to be "available"?
    - Can you just poke your head in and see what's going on
    - Etiquette rules?

    Any feedback and tips appreciated!

Well at least we're in good company, 130 views and no one else knows what it is either...it must be a "mystery room"

No longer a mystery once you go. Some things are best left for your imagination to run wild.

It would seem counter-intuitive for people that want to show off to enter into a dark room. LOL

Enter at your own risk. Or reward. Just a matter of how you choose to look at it.

Hi. In answer to your question, there will be several playrooms on the Nov cruise. One of the smaller rooms will be a dark room, where you can see absolutely nothing. You just have to feel your way around until u find something interesting and willing. Another room will be a hall-pass room where those with permission and come solo and hookup with others with the same permission. The third room, and the biggest, is the group room for lack of a better term. This room will have around 40 mattresses surrounded by beautiful decorations, pipe and drape , etc. the center of the room will have two groups of king size beds arranged in two big play areas. On both sides of that there will be 10 queen beds arranged individually, again separated by pipe and drape, for a degree of privacy. This is the area to play if you want a bit more privacy rather than the beds in the middle. As always, ask before joining in. We have been on both previous cruises and this room is always an amazing experience. See you there...royce and cheryl.

Thanks Royce and Cheryl, I knew someone could provide a decent answer! we'll have to explore them in the daylight to get the "lay of the land" and then see if we have the courage to return at night :-)

    Thanks again!
