Desire or Desire Pearl????

We were at Desire over x-mas and being longtime Hedo fans, not impressed, but paid a visit to Pearl and switched to there the same day.
Its definitely not Hedo, upmarket and couples only, so different atmosphere and a pleasant change. We are going back to Hedo in March and will now probably alternate between the two.

Sarah and I will be at Desire RM for a week on 4/6....hoping to see if we can do a day trip to see Pearl. 3rd trip to Desire RM w/ 3 trips to HII behind us.

Trying to get to Pearl end of March,do they have theme nights and what are they. Do they have airport transfer or do you have to cab it, also can you go to Desire or do you have to pay day charge?

from what Im seeing looks like Desire really beats Hedo II... we haven't been to either and this will be our first clothign optional resort, looking for 1st week of NOV.

Watch out for the bugs at Pearl. Several of us who were staying at Deisre RM last January went over to Pearl for a day to check it out, and curiously all the guys came back with nasty bug bites, while none of the ladies were bothered. Odd.

Why choose just one? We're heading back in March and are hitting up RM and Pearl. RM first to hit it hard then Pearl with a few friends for a slight wind down and intimate time. Not that you can't party at Pearl, but we find we're too easily led at RM and are going to try and isolate ourselves at Pearl and have a 'relaxing' time. Bugs are everywhere, we get them at RM and Pearl depending on the time of year. Some of them even flare up after leaving, so just protect yourself, it is the tropics after all. Don't make the mistake of applying bug repellant straight after shaving though. Ouch.

I always say it's the people that make the resort, staff and guests alike. I always make a point of joining the yahoo groups and getting to know people before we go and always have a great time.

Thank you for the very informative review. we've been to both Hedo and Desire RM. Our question is about Desire Pearl. How does it compare to others in terms of swinger action? And which resort in your opinion is better for pure swinging?

It really depends on the time of the year that you are there and if there is a group/takeover. We found Pearl to be more laid back than H2, but knowing full well that beyond the hot tub and the disco there was plenty of action going on behind closed doors at Pearl.

Desire, Pearl... Both very nice. If your expecting American level resorts Mexico wins hands down. For us, WERE GOING TO JAMAICA MON! Jamaican Vibe and Hedo atmosphere are hard to beat unless your the type that some flaws are going to spoil your vacation.
