Desire or Desire Pearl????

Loved Desire RM and are heading to Desire Pearl in March... can't wait!! Never been to Hedo but from what I can tell, Desire is more focused on sensuality, fun and couples.

We're going to try Desire RM this May after doing H2 last year. Then we'll know which way to book for 2014!

like the look of Pearl - altogether more classy (and repaired!) looking resort - hopefully will be able to try in the Autumn - any one know what the weather is like there in October/November?

Caribbean in the fall Should generally be cloudy and perhaps rainy with the occasional tropical storm! People do go in the fall as the rates are better

Heading back to Hedo next week for our second trip. We're very excited but think we're gonna try somewhere else next. We've looked into Desire......how are the rules on pda's? And is it fully nude?

Nude in the pool, beach, hottub and generally you can walk around nude everywhere except the restaurants. In the disco most people dress sexy but there is lots of skin depending on the crowd. Serious PDAs are verboten everywhere except the hottub and playroom (which is fantastic!).

Well as long as we can get a little bit of pda on in the hottub and playroom...sounds hot...then we would be happy with that.

oops - Desire RM sold out of their garden rooms the day before we booked (Hello Karma....) so we decided to move over to Pearl.

Just got back from Pearl on Sat, absolutely gorgeous, clean, grand, service was incredible. Food fantastic. Gonna be hard to go to Hedonism again after that junket. Oh yeah, you can see your toes in the pool too. Honestly too many good things to list, you get EVERYTHING you pay for.

After 4 trips to hedo, last one being in April 2012, we've decided it's time for a change and see what Desire has to offer. We feel this is the only way to get a fair comparison based on "our" likes and dislikes. We'll be down at Desire on Jan. 27 for our first time and we're definitely interested to see the differences.
Btw, happy new year everyone and all the best for 2013!

We're first-timers thinking of heading down to Pearl this Nov or Dec. Would love to know your experiences/opinions of this resort.

We had some great trips to Hedo...but we fell in love with Desire. The below is a trip report we sent ot some folks on

Been to Hedo II three times and Desire twice - 3rd time this April (4/6 to 4/13).

One our last two trips to Desire we had a fantastic time! Mix of Swinger, Nudist and Flirty naked people. All were cool.

Rooms: rooms better than Hedonism 2. Lounge chairs by the Jacuzzi or you can escape to the beds where you can have a more “private” time.

Disco: The refurbished Disco blows H2's away (my opinion). Circular bar has seats, couches and beds abound with a "play room” located off to the side. Two poles on the dance floor. Dance floor is small, but fits the size of the resort.

Entertainment / Theme nights – as good or better than H2

Pool – better than H2 – clothing optional – 99% of everyone is naked. No swim up bar, but the pool side waitresses and waiters hustle to get drinks. Great group of waiters and waitresses. No (limited :-)) PDA at the pool...PDA at the hot tube, which has 6 day beds for your enjoyment.

Beach: Better than H2; chairs, beach beds are cool, well kept beach. Ocean water is clear – nicer than H2. Food – better than H2. Good sushi and hibachi restaurant. Food at the buffet is a theme night...steak night, Italian night, etc.

Spa: as good as H2 – better amenities. The weight room is adequate. Not as good as H2.Selling point - smaller resort, sexy people / atmosphere and intimate, easy to get to from the airport, etc.

Plan on doing a day trip to Pearl to see if our 4th trip we will switch to Pearl from Desrire MR.

Excellent review and info Scott and Sarah, thanks for sharing. We just returned from our second trip to hedo and had an amazing time but i think we're gonna try Desire this year just to compare. Sure hope to see some sexies like you two there!
