i tend to drink alot of water, when drinking alcohol or exercising. do they have unlimited bottled water or is the tap water safe to drink in large quantities. dont want to have any stomach issues or have to curtail my activities. thanks for the help
Bottled water is only available in the gift shop. I drink the soda fountain water all the time, no problems!
Tap water is safe to drink in Jamaica
I doubt you'll find cleaner water right out of the tap anywhere in the world that's better than Jamaican. The limestone hills and loads of rain make spring water exceptionally clean. Then the water is treated before delivery. Jamaican water is not 'tainted' like much of the water in North America or Europe. Drink it and be safe.
But don't drink the hot tub water, or even put you head under. Now that's unsavory -- even when well chlorinated.
Leave some water for us -- 4 days to go.

The water is safe in Jamaica. I too drink a lot of water for the same reasons. Hope you have a great trip.

My error. In Mexico do NOT drink the tap water unless you are sure it's well chlorinated. Also make sure the facets are sterile. Otherwise the results are shitty. I speak from experience!

In Mexico I would not only be buying the water, I would be asking them to bring them to the table un-opened and checking the seals for myself.
I wouldnt want to be spending seven fun filled says looking at the limited view from my bathroom window....
Jamaica is so much further ahead when it comes to water safety!

Was at Hidden Beach for 4 days and drank the water and no problems. They have their own water system. It actually tasted ok. You eat the fresh fruit washed in it, the salad is washed in it, your ice is made from it. If I didn't get sick from it I don't think anyone will.
Bottled water is unlimited, available in the room and at the bars. I would not routinely drink the tap water because it tends to be very hard, i.e. high mineral content. They do have there own system, and all water and ice served is perfectly safe. We have been there dozen times.
Don't know where the other folks went, but you can have all the bottled water you want at HBR. We asked them the fill our fridge with it since we drink so much and they did...no problems...they DO however have filtered water though out all the resorts that group owns there - we had ice in our drinks and had no issues at all...enjoy your workout...
