The times I was there last week , I don't remember his name ... but I enjoyed the show he put on. We were lucky to have a guest who brought his Sax and played with the Piano man the 3 nights I went there.

I'd have to say that was our disappointment this year. We were wondering what it was going to be like without Deion as well. One night they did a sing-along and it was kind of like half piano bar, half karaoke. One night the guy that was working the piano bar tried to do the traditional piano bar routine, but it was very slow moving. It was not very smooth, and he kept yelling at everyone to be quiet. Normally it is a very enjoyable experience, but without Deion or someone similar, it was not the same for us. We have had fun with the karaoke as well before, but didn't see that even going on this year. We did miss the guest playing the sax and heard he was really good, but he was only a guest anyway and would not be a regular performer.

We'll just have to hope for some real guest talent in two weeks time.

In the past we have met professional singers (everything from NY Met to Hollywood, and North American to European), and musicians of every type. One year a Patsy Cline 'cover' brought the house down every evening. One week a guest took over the piano and sent Dion away for an hour each evening -- and put on a great show.

Hope there is some talent beyond YMCA. Never could spell that one and some of the gals spelled it with a lisp -- or their lips got in the way! You had to be there.

OK, so the piano man does not make his name known with more then a mumble when I ask him. He plays a great keyboard however and as the week went by started to get into the Hedo vibe. For those who have a much better memory then I do with the "Hedo" words to songs please type them up and take sheets with you to help him and the rest of the "house" sing them. My take is that he is one very good musician, could become a good HEDO piano man, needs some help with feeling comfie with the nude and adult nature of the resort. I enjoyed the hours spent with him over the last week of March. Yes the Sax player was great to have as well as the bass player when he was there the first part of the week.
