Could this be true? A Hedo right here in Ontario?

Unfortunatly NO. Hedo North is an old web site...It was a camping weekend that happened once, the promoters flew in EC's from Hedo and had some issues with the private campground. I don;t think the campground really knew what they were getiing into and refused to host them the next year....but then was unable to find a venue willing to accept their event the next time, Ontario Couples is a Swingers site run by the same people.
The company in question is www.takeabiteoftheapple.com. They have a swing club...Ozone near the airport in Toronto...very nice place. They also organize some weekend events throughout the year..most being a hotel takeover type thing such as Valentines in Niagra, March Madness in Toronto. They sttill have one camping weekend near Ottawa.

Again No more Hedo North weekend..but it was fun the year it happened

It also has disclaimers all over that basically say "not associated with Hedonism or Superclubs."
So it is "Hedo North?" No, just by name. (And a deceptive one at that)
Looks like just another swingers club to me...

I sent an email looking for more info.

I wonder if they will bring up a couple of the EC's like in 2009?

MMM didn't open the link as it was the same link as the camping weekend from 2009....it would appear I stand corrected as this may be a new venture, although it does imply same ownership as the swing club in TO and the Ontario couples swing site.
So with that stated...no I don;t have any information on this particular Hedo North, and this is the first I'm hearing of it. If so...even with the disclaimer that they are not affiliated with Superclubs...it's one thing do do a promo hedo camping event...another to open a resort named Hedo north. I'm smelling lawsuit as I'm sure superclubs has a trademark on the short form Hedo...so would be surprised if they are allowed to use it.

My question would be; Does Hedonism Jamaica - Miami have any legal right to the name here in Canada if they havent pre-registered it?
I have no idea myself.

With all the disclaimers at the bottom of the website, I'm pretty sure they looked into it.
It's a shame, because it's very misleading.
All it looks like at first blush is another swingers club! And a couples only one at that!

We recieved an e mail 4 weeks ago saying it was a new venture.We also met friends at Hedo a couple of weeks ago that know the owners (of O Zone)and said that it was supposed to open this summer.If we hear anything we'll keep you posted.

Thanks everyone!
We were married at what was once Hedo III on March 27 2010. We've always wanted to go back. Well, go to Hedo II instead of the more family friendly Hedo III. It's ended up that our money has ended up having to be spend elsewhere instead of a trip back "home". If this is a new resort opening up with the same type of ideals as what we experienced then we would look into it. It wouldn't be the same but, it would be a great alternative if it's not as costly and closer to home. We haven't been to a swingers club yet. He works every weekend and she works every other weekend. We have kids every other week. It seems that our schedule doesn't allow it. We would have to book time off work to do so. That's not something we can afford to do right now. However, we would book a weeks vacation to Hedo North after it opens and we do more research about the resort, if that's what it is.
Thanks again and hoping for more info once it becomes available.

We are definitely thinking about giving it a try for a weekend or so this summer, 2 1/2 hr drive, couple hundred buxs to stay, cheaper than heading to Jamaica
