I have heard about the Yoga only once. I heard anything in the gym is clothes required, but is there a gym schedual lurking about with more info on times and etc?

NO KIDDING!!! We are flat out HAMMERED by 4:30, and on our second wind! Our rule at Hedo is simply, if we're conscious, we're drinking. Hell, we're buzzed by the end of breakfast!

We usually have several toys of various material in our bags and the only time we were pulled aside to have it opened was in Cancun on our way to Desire. We think a male customs agent saw the outlines in the xray and just wanted to see if her could embarrass the female agent.

If you pack power toys, make sure you remove the batteries. You don't want anything turning on accidentally and getting paged because your bag is vibrating as it is being loaded onto the plane.

This will be our 6th time in April and we have only done the catamaran trips. I've never even seen Rick's. Oh we say we are going to go but never make it

On my first couple of Trips, I went to Rick's Cafe (one early evening with my digital camera) and on the escorted group shopping trip to a nearby Negril tourist mall (2-3 hours one morning or afternoon). Those are things you definitely want to do on your first Trip to Negril, Jamaica. I have been to the Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville up the road from Hedo as well, but aside from the beach it is not much different from the two Jimmy Buffetts at the Airport (which have better gift shops anyway). Now that I have plenty of beach towels, t-shirts and other Jamaican tourist items, I generally stay on the resort all week (and just buy rum and coffee at MoBay Airport Duty Free shops before my departure flight). Alway do the catamaran cruise every Trip, though, that is a must!

    Hi ratboat4 -
I am the guest fitness pro for Feb. 12 - 19th. I am not 100% sure, but my understanding is that there is usually a cardio class - spin or aerobics (I teach Spin and Zumba) at 8 am, yoga around 11 am and aqua aerobics at 11:30 am. Aqua is fairly well attended, but I have to admit, in our five previous trips, when I was just a regular guest, I never made it up for the 8 am class... and only watched the aqua class from my beach chair.

I've always been torn on " pack, take out half" and the "don't pack clothes you'll be naked all the time" theories.
Most every year I have gone, my skin gets freaked out. Sun, wind, chlorine a salt water takes it's toll along with the excessive use of lotions, potions and alcohol. Every year I pack about 3-4 loose tank tops/shirts and some regular shorts and every year they come home well-used.

Things to do, the snorkel boat goes out every day and it's free. bring your own face mask. Their's are ok, but a hit and miss on possible leaky masks that fog up. Their fins are very good, though.
There is also kayaking and sailing he can do. We have almost always ran into a couple where one wants to stay put (husband) and one wants to go out and do stuff. (me) We make it happen and everyone is happy!
