Prices of a Hedonism II trip for May

I like some ideas of what you all are paying some what for a week or like 5 to 6 days for Hedonism from your locations with flights.

right now I am looking at about $2000 for 6 days for flying from Canada?

Does that sound about right? or too much?

I like some verification on this please. would be helpful.

    This is from Westjet Vacations.

As a Canadian, I find the best pricing at Castaways.

We went last year in April, and flew from St Louis with a layover in Atlanta. We paid about $3500 for everything . that was flight and 6 days at Hedo. $2000.00 from Canada sounds like GREAT bargain to me lol
We are heading back on July of this year and I've been watchign flights. they seem to be more than they werre last year so we are looking at almost $1200 total forjust flights.
The price on the rooms we have been quoted is about the same.

You can also book your hotel seperate from your airfare.
Here is a great tool for finding flights.

Once you have picked a flight, take this information to your travel agent and see if they can match the price or do better.

Going from Canada is always tricky. That sounds like a good pricce though. Are you going as a single male? If so are you rooming with someone there?

If you are willing to share a room, ask for "single share" rates.
That should be significantly less than the single guarantee rate.

I have never been able to find a better price by booking our air and resort separate coming from Canada. It's always worked out to $400-$500 more than if I booked air and resort together through expedia, tripcentral or any other site. Where you are leaving from in Canada may play a part in this as well. If you can find a better rate booking separately then please pass the info on.

We have used Expedia and Castaways. Check out both. Usually just book our flights ourselves. redtag.ca

That sounds a bit high, You should be able to find at least 7 nights for $2000 including taxes and insurance I would think.

We booked thru expedia originally and it was expensive even flying from las vegas. When we heard of what a better deal you get thru skyauction we cancelled our expedia booking. We booked thru skyauction ( think ebay of vacations). We ended up up saving about 1200 dollars off our original expedia price for 7 days. After all the fees from skyauction were thrown in we still booked the room for around 240/night .

Im not familiar with the other group booking places ( castaways etc) but Id avoid expedia and shop around..If you need to get out of your expedia reservation just call the corporate office up and give them a song and dance..Hope that helps some people out ..

In April 2011, we paid a total of $2360 for a 6 night stay and airfare from US. Our July 2012 trip is 2 days longer, and I expect we'll pay about $3000 total. Airfare looks like it's going to be $100 more pp this year than last, bummer!

I have a spiffy excel spreadsheet I use to compare prices, and would be happy to email it to anyone doing the number crunching for their trip.

We are in British Columbia. Getting to Jamaica is always a pain. Flying out of Ontario would be cheaper for sure, as all flights out of Canada seem to go through there.

We've given up on the main on-line travel sites like Travelocity, Expedia, and Orbitz. This year they were all out of range, high. The traditional adult travel sites (Toms Trips, Dennyp, Castaways, etc.) all had very similar prices for us this year.
We did come across a web site "www.skoosh.com" based in England that was way lower than the traditional sites.
None of the regular TA's would match their price, but they would preach FUD about them.

$2k doesn't sound like a bad deal though. Is this a group price, (if not, check out joining a group, for a group rate).
We booked through Orbitz last year, one price, air and hotel. They beat Tom's and Dennyp's (when air factored in). This year they are off scale high.

This year we booked through "Flight Center" resort only, and Westjet (they had a seat sale) for air, with loyalty points and cash. They had the best deal for us.

You need to shop around, and get quotes from the adult travel resort, travel agents.
Check Westjet for a seat sale.
