We've done the bus thing and if it's your first time it can be fun. We do the plane thing now, there and back. VERY nice flight and you follow the coast, awesome views.

I always take the Shuttle bus, but the plane is obviously faster. The shuttle bus will stop halfway for about 10 minutes to let you buy another Red Stripe, though.
First time we would recommend the bus to take in the island scenery...although most of the views are third worldish lol...the plane is friggin awesome though, especially if you get a 4-seater and there's a storm lol
