Looks like we are headed to Desire August 2012

The wife and I have been looking for a resort to book for this August. I (hubby) had my heart set on Hedo, after the wife thought about it she felt Desire was more her. I don't care where we go as long as we can get naked.....lol We have never been to a clothing option resort/beach at all, this will be a first for us. We were wondering if it is all clothing optional, except for the dining areas? and the beach, is there a place where we can thrown down a couple of towels and bask is the sun or are you pretty much gonna have to rent a bed?

Desire is a wonderful, elegant place. I have been to hedo 4 times and desire 1 time. Desire is definitely more service oriented, smaller, less sexual....maybe ??? and I would most definitely get a beach bed especially in August. You can always lay on the beach in front of your bed, but it is Africa Hot in August and you will want some sun protection. I'm part cherokee indian and tan very easily as well as live in florida and I still want the beach bed, plus it is just sexy as hell when your with your woman. Give the beach service guy 10-20 bucks and he will bring you any food you want all day long and all the drinks you want. Service is second to none at Desire. The staff at Hedo are awesome and I love most all of them; however, they do not have the same customer service philosphy as Desire.

You can pretty much be naked anywhere at Desire except the dining areas and the lobby, although I did go to the bar in the dining area nude once to get a drink and no one said anything. Most times I threw on a sarong or a towel and walked over, the buffett is steps away from the pool. You can be naked all the time, but Desire has a much less sexual atmosphere and is MUCH more layed back. It is not really much of a social place at all. Everyone just kinda sits and reads in the sun all day, not much socialness at all. But they do have service above any place I have ever been. But I am not a fan of Desire and we will not be back. But go, discover, explore and then try Hedo and find your second home there!!! Oh and Desire is big on time sharing, so try to avoid them at all costs, lol. You will have an awesome time!!
